How long does paintless dent repair take?

Does paintless dent repair damage the paint?
No. PDR works the metal back from behind the panel, so the original paint is not sanded, filled, or repainted. It only works when the paint is intact, and we check that first.
Is PDR cheaper than a body shop?
Often, yes, because there is no sanding, body filler, priming, or paint. The savings vary by the dent and the panel. We quote every job individually, based on photos or an in-person look.
Can large dents be repaired without painting?

Does insurance cover dent repair?

What cannot be fixed with paintless repair?
Cracked or chipped paint, dents with stretched or creased metal beyond what can be released, and areas where we cannot reach the back of the panel can limit PDR. We tell you upfront, and we do not take on jobs that will not turn out well.
Do you repair aluminum panels?
Often yes, though aluminum is less forgiving than steel and some panels are more limited. Tell us your vehicle and send photos and we will let you know.
Can you fix scratches?

Do I need to be present during the repair?
Not always. We need access to the vehicle, and it is best if you are reachable in case we have a question. We will confirm the plan when we schedule.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. We are mobile only, so we come to you.
Do you charge for travel?
No. Travel within about 30 miles of Lake Charles is included in the price.
